I was remiss in failing to draw attention to the fact that yesterday was Dan's birthday. (I only had time for one blog post, late last night, and the house contract won.) We have been so busy with the house and work and other responsibilities, I didn't get him a gift or even a card. :( But I did stop at a legendary local place, Freeport Bakery, to get him a cake on my way home.
(Can I just say, "Wow"? That has to be the best cake I've ever had. But to get back to the point. . .)
Here's wishing a slightly belated "Happy Birthday" to my slightly neglected (but nevertheless adored) husband. Happy birthday, sweetheart. I love you! :)
