I have a hard time posting about these kinds of things. Do not take it as a sign of indifference, because it is anything but. I am a Virginian, to my core, and I felt the horror of the Virginia Tech tragedy as much as anyone. I simply have a hard time blogging about it because words are so inadequate. My brother Joel, an electrical engineering major, was accepted to VA Tech last year but opted for George Mason, which was closer to family and more affordable. But he could have been there that morning, as I am acutely and uncomfortably aware.
At any rate, this cartoon drawing resonated with me.
