Anti-Creationism Class Cancelled

This article was quite provocative. On the one hand, I'm thrilled that the University of Kansas did the right thing and cancelled the class after the professor's remarks. On the other, I'm annoyed that the guilty professor got off with only a half-hearted apology. These people are hired to give students the information and encourage them to think for themselves, not to devote entire classes to mocking a specific religious group. As Christians, we draw criticism all the time for our "non-tolerance" of gays, liberals, etc. and yet they are the first ones not to tolerate us. Last I heard, there are no publicly-funded universities devoting classes to "debunking" the theory that people are just "born" gay.

I'd love to heard ya'll's comments/thoughts on this one. :)
